Just wondering what needs to be replaced when installing a camsaft?

As, what prices, power figures and brands/models should i be looking at?

Also, best compression rockers and valve springs to suit?

Engine is series 1 VR buick

cheers

to fit a cam you'll need intake gaskets, timing cover gaskets. possibly a new timing chain(adjustable) and tensioner and a cam.

because the buick uses a roller cam you can re-use the original roller followers. just inspect em for any damage.

for roller rockers. you can only get either 1.7 or 1.8's for the buick. which ratio you get depends on the cam because your limited to a total valve lift off about .520" before you have issues.

crow do valve springs.

talk to MACE. they can supply springs etc.

for cams try either crow (MACE can supply) or Wade cams.

for rockers, either got to Yella Terra or MACE
