I can understand people saying haltech is a downgrade if we're talking about the old platinum series. But that's not true for the elite series.

There's no need, so why go to the expense?

But is it worth the cost/time to tune a ecotec?

What are we looking at for an elite series units? $2500 or more?

Exactly, especially considering a memcal can be bought for $200.

Yeah if Nige of wizzid does it sure!

But the mace ones I'd rather a stock one.

Kalmaker dyno tune is $12-1500 in Perth including set up.

No one in town would touch tuner pro as was to old.

It's why I went the LS1 pcm conversion . We'll see how it goes if the cars ever back together and it's not set back after set back.

I had no issues with my Mace one, apart from a slight lean at WOT but but wasn't an issue that needed correction. This was a few years ago now though.

I think you got that backwards. Kalmaker is old and they have only updated to run on newer windows in the last few years, tunerpro is much more recent but it's not a commercial product and that is most likely the reason most tuners aren't interested in it.
