^^^ lol, what he said.

the thing that has taken me the longest to master is each hammer. you have a planing hammer, stretching, shrinking, cross pene, ball pene etc and they all are used for different purposes. make sure you have one of each :) dont try and get a panel flat with a claw hammer cos' it just wont work.

and make sure you get a gassed mig. and a couple of G clamps that you can weld next to, i.e. not plastic.

Sure can be. If you look around you will be able to pick yourself up a real tradie's brand welder for a bargain. If its a really good one, it won't really matter how old it is.

For example I purchased on old Ingersall-Rand air compressor, 14cfm, plus some tools for $500, the damn thing is about 25 years old, but still going strong.

Go down to Bursons and ask for a twelve inch population tool and it wouldn't hurt to grab a long weight while you are there too.

Both are necessity's for removing and repairing rust.

What is a population tool? (tried google with no luck)
What exactly is the long weight used for?
