Standard panel filter, there are no gains to be had that are worth the price some companies are asking. I'd pay more for one that I can clean and reuse but that's about it.

An air filter will give you zero performance on a stock N/A V6

    Only mod ?
I have the mace one with clear lid.
It adds a sucking sound and looks interesting. Don't think it adds anything else.

add it to a nice set of Pacies, tune and Mace rockers and you will notice the gains. A CAI on its own would need to be measured on a dyno to see the difference.

the k/n filter allows greater airflow than a paper filter. From memory the k/n company claim 550 cfm compared to 400 or so. You could check out the k/n website for exact info. The other positive it has a warranty. I have had one for 2 + yrs but clean it every 5000km..

    Yeah I did thanks.
Full exhaust, mace inlet spacers and tune so it does go better.

OP didn't say any other mods tho.

Probably a waste of money doing a cam in an Ecotec unless your really attached to it, high ratio rockers are a good upgrade for these and no where near the expense of a cam job
