its pulling heaps with 34 in there at the moment, as soon as u have either side on different road surfaces, it just grabs and pulls heaps sideways, its almost scary, i might try 36 and see how they go, i dont wanna go 2 low but also neither 2 high, hopefully its just something around the 34 psi mark

Get a wheel alignment, it's worth the $30 with a car that goes straight.

Another vote for 34psi front & back, much more and the ride is stiff and tyre wear increases in the centre, 32 and you will have a soft ride but waste fuel pushing too soft a tyre.

Just remember that on a hot day the presure will rise quite a few PSI once they heat up, so if you going on a decent trip it might be practical to start at 32.

Lower pressure = more traction and more comfortable ride, but at the expense of cornering speed and fuel economy.

I set my tyres around 35 PSI

I had 38 PSI on my old 235/40 18's.

Haven't looked at my new 235/35 19's though. I probably should.

DID you know that government departments are told to put more air in there tyres to save fuel (rolling resistance decrease) like 45psi in the front on 15"
and 43 in the back 15". I tried it one day and have not stopped (on 15")
you get more of a solid feel and the handling is more "responsive" also
your tyres last longer.
Cheers.

That's because there isn't as much weight on them, therefore not pushing them against the ground so much therefore not dragging and wearing away tyre as quickly. But your tyres would deflate a bit quicker due to the more weight the air holds up from over inflation.

working at a tyre shop we put 38psi in all our 17s and 18s around, we havnt got the best roads either but we dont get any complaints about tyre presures either.
