What was your first Holden?

HQ Kingswood. Previous owner gave up on it after spending $3000 on the motor (202). I paid $750 for it and before taking it home I removed four inches of carpet from under the accelerator so i could get more than the 1/2 throttle he was getting. He was so pissed off I offered the car back to him but he didn't want it.
The $3000 was in 1984 so it was a lot of money then.

 

My first car's a VX..

But we've had Holdens in our family for a long time.. My grandpa bought his first one in abot '65 and has been addicted to em since. He drives an Astra at the moment, not a real Holden, but it's ok..

Same with parents. Long line of Holdens, I've always loved em..

 

My first holden was a VH, and I loved it!! Extractors, alloys, big cam....*sigh*

Got rid of it when petrol went up, I just couldn't afford to run it. So I got offered the VN as a swap for a project car I had, and accepted.

My first Holden was my sh1t hot UC torana with 202 and traumatic, thing weighed hardly anything and used to fly for what it was.
