After 2016, GMH hopes to make cars in Australia - there might be a replacement for the Commodore, which could be FWD.
The Opel Insignia didn't sell much the last few months did it? So GM please forget it.
GM has declared the Zeta platform too heavy and too expensive. The Camaro will be changing to the Alpha platform,
used for mid-sized Cadillacs. Interesting that Cadillac are developing a large RWD platfform, but it will be only for the
flagship bigger Caddy (contradicting their chants about global platforms).
Now the Alpha could be used to make a car the size of VN-VS Commodores. How likely is this? I guess it will depend
on Daewoo or Vauxhall wanting a RHD RWD car as well.

What ever it will be, I'm pretty sure they won't be calling it the VG though.

Didn't think of that. No, I was referring to it likely being called "lady parts".

Because VG has already been used by Holden.

You can't expect an entirely new label to sell as well as a Commodore in its first 3 months.

I'd drive the life outta an OPC.

According the VE Commodore page on Wikipedia, Holden rejected the Cadillac platform because the front suspension was too expensive.
