Taking what he says at face value and assuming we are being told the whole story, I gotta say I agree 1000% with this

Precisely what I was wondering. 5 strokes should be enough to cause a license to drive being revoked, yet he's tossing up whether to buy a Redline?

I'm 49, a young fellow compared to you and had my first of two strokes at 34 and have little use of my left arm and never will.
I can sympathise to some extent as my arm is withered and curled and I have a permanent limp but I'm used to remarks particularly from children.
I wish I didn't look like a cripple but I'm happy in the knowledge I been given a life that allows me to see my family grow up and nothing touches me as I embrace each day as if it's my last.
I have a BIOTRONIK defibrillator in my chest that shocks my heart to keep it in rhythm, it cost my health fund just short of $80K to have fitted and if I have a heart attack it has the power to knock me clean off my feet in an effort to try and keep me alive and it also sends signals to a monitoring facility via an iphone size box called a CardioMessenger Smart 3G which I have to constantly carry with me.
The monitoring facility phones my GP and my wife if the irregular beats get beyond what my body can cope with.
I don't get upset with people though as that isn't good for my medical condition and I wasn't aware I could take legal action against someone for saying something nasty about my physical appearance, not that I would.
Maybe if it was relentless abuse and I could show how much I suffered because of it then I may get a cease and desist order to start with then if it continued I may try and take it further to a payout.
Still good lawyers and private investigators cost too much for me to risk wasting my limited money on what I see would initially be nothing more than a slap on the wrist so I would have long stopped using forums before I put myself through that cost and mental suffering.
I wish you all the best.

    And I'd buy the Redline

@KING46Calais V, I don’t think he has said he actually drives. He’s always talked about fixing cars (a rather therapeutic activity even for well people) and his son driving them.

As to behaviour, maybe you should read some of the leaflets that come within the box. Such may highlight that side effects can include depression, mood swings and such. These side effects are not as rare as some would expect.

You also can have a straw and camel’s back type reaction to some comments.

w.r.t. verbally bashing ones relatives, well I wouldn’t, but know many who do.

I’d cut the guy some slack as we’ve seen how calling someone out can spiral out of control on these forums.

Ps: @VFSV6FORME did say in his post below that he still drives which is off as license’s are revoked for medical issues irrespective of driving record? But maybe he has a supportive doctor as a lot does depend on the GP/specialist.

Your to young for this. Because I have VERY.VERY Low BP I have to go to bed (yes on the Floor) with a heart Monitor just in case I tilt and if my BP is Extremely low a very loud alarm goes off.
Regarding if some Defame you ( Last week 60 Minutes) or tell you you useless and hope you die or if you die you can be sued by your Family.
Anyhow back to the Redline. A 2013 Redline its around $32,000 to $35000 Bracket and I can scrape that but the BIGGEST ISSUE ISSUE IS. They are too far away from me, I dont want to drive 250-300 K away because my stroke Head wont like it because to stay focus for 3 hours of driving even with a person next to me will be too much for me. I have a TOTALLY Clean Driving record since I started driving in 1966.
    OR
The one's I have seen or rang about so far, just about all of them have OTR with MAF or Even MAFLESS + the have Extractors + Lowered one or either modified in some way FU!@#$%^&*() I want a Standard Redline. I have two of Hotted up cars no and I spend a lot of time fix up my HQ GTS Monaro to be standard again.

After all the strokes one Main that i was otalloedto (see it got me again, it should be I was not allowed to drive) drive until I can prove that I can drive and the 4 small one that I recovered quickly but you are right I have 5 cars and 3 of them are registered and in total I drive locally the same roads the same suburbs and about 4000k a year totally o all the cars. Yes I love working on cars I always have. It took me 3 or weeks to modifiedaaa ( got me again) modify a Series2 grille to ftt in a series one car. My latest car that I fixed was the Cheap Ve Anniversity and its a beautiful car now, when I got its was smashed and horrible with issue everywhere.

The one thing that I noticed is the Early Relies. Should be REDLINES say 2013 to 14 MY 13 MY 14 and the 2013 MY14 Caprice V share the same features like HUD, Sun roof, the seats (look he same pattern) possible more.

One major Stroke I lost my license the other 4 were ok after week was normal. The issue I have is LOW VERY LOW VERY DANGEROUS LOW BP to a point that I could die whist sleeping. Even my latest Versa 2 FIRBIT and other monitoring devices tell me on my phone as it records 24/7 my BPM and sometime my BPM goes very low.
Dont worry about Me, Not long ago I was still Drag racing my Monaro at street meets and run 12.88 on the quarter. At Willowbank I heard a guy say,,, Look sat that OLD CU.T driviing that Monro. A good Race will put my BPM to be normal like 100 BPM not 50 and put my BP from 68/52 (most are dead with these figures) to a high BP (Blood Pressure) which is 120/80 which is Normal. forme to feel better I have watch the NEWS so I get ANGRY!!! So my BPM and BP goes up, those FU,ked kids stealing cars, Watch shows that make me Angry and do anything to stay alive. I always do exercise before bed time but the issue I have I dont sleep well.

Tell me my friend How would you feel every, every, every, every time you go to bed you might not wake up the nesx morning. how would you feel, or how would Family feel with this. Yes A Redline or even a Capice V will take my mine of this as I always like to keep busy.
If anyone know this last Night @ 8PM Greys On line Auctions had 2013 REDLINE (66,300K) and with my Daughter I bidded my head off to get this Redline to $27,009 than I stop as the Redline in that orange colour was heavy modified and needed thousands to bring it back to stock.

I passed the test and that's it, DO YOU WANT TO SEE A PHOTO OF ME standing in on top of Building right up the very top with my hands pointing upwards,
Yes My doctor had to write a report on me and most Doctors dont like dong this because of legal action so I did this to prove that i was very good on my feet so my wife tok photos and at the same time took a 5 MINUTE VIDEO on a windy day.
Most young today wont have the Balls on what I did when I was younger like Climb High Voltage tower for a living, so climbing out 2 store house was Breeze for me and still do like to climbing today like rescuing cats birds that are trapped in a tree. Yes I'm neary 70 most fit 25 years old wont have balls and guts to do what I have done i my life.
Dong worry about your 1000% because you dont know me and dont know how stubburn I am.

Anyhow I will get the Photos out of my Phone after My daughter gets home because ater a hacked android version on my phone t get the firbit working my phone wont connect to the computer

Last ticket was 22 years ago.
    But that's not the issue.
The problem I have is that you have a number of cardio and neuro issues that could (and have) cause you a problem at any time. And now, a serious blood pressure issue that could cause you to die.
Let's just hope that time isn't when your in your 300kw car while driving through a school zone.
How any doctor could sign you off is beyond me.

At the end if the day it's your decision, your the one that needs to live with it. And those around you that allowed you and encouraged you to drive in the first place.

Sure you can climb a building or chase a cat up a tree that doesn't mean your fit to drive

Im with you re being told the whole story. Every post theres something else. 9 satellite dishes, drag racer, building climber, cat chaser, high voltage power lines. Private investigators and lawyers at the ready to find and sue people. Lots of money one minute then the next says he'll get some loser to pay for his new car.
Im getting the feeling he also has a condition called "little golden books syndrome"
