Hate to sound selfish, but i'd be spending the majority of that 50,000 on myself. And i don't think too many people could say otherwise for themselves. If i won millions, yeah for sure i'd give a lot away. But at 50,000 it would aaaaaall be mine ... I'd wanna spend it all on a car, but i'd probably put 10,000 - 15,000 away and spend the other 35-40 on a new car. So many options tho. Spend it all on my '92 liberty and slaughter people unexpectedly. buy and get most of the way through an old project muscle car. Get a new car, like a second hand early E1 HSV, or who knows. So many things i dunno if i could make up my mind aha.
Pay off the small amount of debt I have left (~$1k), buy a twincab TD5 Defender ute (~$15k), then spend the rest on tidying up and dropping a mild 304 into the VC ($10k), and finish the Scorpion ($10k), with $14k spending money left over.
Build my shed. 50k should just about cover the shed, a hoist and the shedwarming party! Then with the coin i've put aside for the shed already I could get my old HQ straightened out and resprayed, or slap a big whipple blower on my 6L vs ss. Or buy a sensible tow car and car trailer, then combine the best bits of my 2 vs's (one has power but no handling and vice-versa) and build a track day/drift beast
^^^ this (my car) plus this plus LOTS of this would equal this then comes this and finally this ahh what a week it would be!!!
Now that i've got my HZ it would be - 350 Chev (maybe bigger if i felt super adventurous ), Diff, Gearbox, Cut out bits of rust here and there and New paint job, Brakes, few little things, and i think after that i'd be almost out haha.
after you throw it in the bank and say pay me interest bitches the tax man will give you a reach around and take what it wants too 50K would go nicely on a round world holiday with 20K just going on 1st class airline tickets
