When I bought my car, the glove box was just in the back seat. I thought I'd re install it but it looks like stuff is missing

If you are wondering what that plug is for, it's one of two things. The factory GPS rarely ever seen or its a computer access for the Engine Management System. Can't recall which one. ( an access for more detailed engine management than via OBD2.)

Glove box have 2 rubber stoppers, I see the clips are broken off both sides in the first photo.

Pretty long pins for a gps tracker, they should ask the person they brought it from what it was for, they added something and removed it, could be anything. Might of being a x cop car.
