Whats the best way to increase power in a 5L ?

dpends what you wanna do and spend. But the lowish compression in these makes them great for a nice little supercharger.

Looking at something along the lines of a Cam

and diff gears

but not too sure atm

The $14,000 CAPA supercharger kit would do wonders something like 500KW at the engine, with that said you would most likely need to build it to handle that much power, but it would be a F,ing beast!!

With what you have said you want to do that will get it moving very well.
