Does any one know what the small white plug with the single green wire running to it is? It's on the driver's side near the tail light wiring when you peel back the side boot lining.

Its for the towbar wireing harness.

Don't think so. I have the factory harness and the small white plug (and a black one, too) are still sitting in there, disconnected. I think they have something to do with the factory installed reversing light kit (note - not the factory kit that you buy and install yourself, as I have one of those and the wires in question were not used.)

If you read the owners manual in the reversing sensor section, you will see reference to these plugs, which you connect/disconnect when a trailer is fitted, to stop the sensors going off all the time.

Ok thanks. Yeah I didn't think that a one wire plug would be able to run trailer lights.
