It's an MCA 1947. Very rare option on your model, probably the only one ever fitted to a VZ. When the rest of the car is worn out, remove it and mount it on your mantelpiece. Guaranteed to be a conversation starter for years to come.

Very important that blinker fluid.View attachment 204057

Sadly, some people don't fill up their blinkers, or their brains with it,
because they just don't work sometimes,
and I meant both,
Blinkers and Brains !
Usually at the same time !

I'd be guessing but it looks like a bracket with an insulator in it that mounts somewhere underneath the body. Possibly off a different vehicle all together and retro fitted to a VZ.

We can narrow it down a bit.
AHA ….. Aust Hotels Association, Aust Historical Assn
MCA..... Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney.
1947 ….. the year of birth of Janet Laurence, an exhibitor at the MCA.
5 ….. the number of energising crystals contained inside ? or May 1947.?
So, if Mulder and Scully are reading this, let us in on the solution.
Losh states he is guessing, but I think that he thinks that he knows more than we think we know.

Possibly a sound or vibration deadener, filled with crystals.

Is this what it is? Or is this too a guess? It could be one of those things to transport crystals across the state border.

So, with all the VZ's on this forum, how come this is the first time we've seen one?

Coz people with Alloytech VZ's aren't looking at their exhausts ?
