when it rains

commodore ute ve
when its rains or when my window has water on it and i wind down my window and it always squeeks. its getting on my nerves, had it for a month now

anyone know how to stop that from happening. i was thinking WD-40 but then i didnt know where to spray...

its a 2010 sv6 ute

spray some wd-40 on a rag and whipe it on ur window then wind it up and down a few times. thats what I would do.

I could understand your frustration if it was a regular occurance, but seriously.... how many times do you wind your window down when it rains?
And even if you did every time, it's for like 2 seconds then the noise would stop (unless you like to go and down repeatedly).

If it really bugs you, you could try Armoralling the rubber seal (I wouldnt use WD40) on a regular basis to try and make it softer.... but then you'll probably have an oily window for a while.

haha i dont know. its just annoying when i do it.

yeah i know i was thinking of spraying the window but didnt want an oily window. guess i just put up with the noise or maybe just not wind my window down
