where can a car be tested legally to know its top speed

i saw a cop actually get smoke out of the tyres doing a 3 point turn infront of me.. they arent supposed to do that either!! i would have lost my car for a week and my licence for a year if i done that.. and long story short.. ur car can reach the 250km limiter.. and speed kills.. the smallest mistake at 250km hr can be fatal..

I saw a really interesting highway crash that was caused by a retard not knowing how to safely tow a caravan. Bloody idiot had no idea, he over-corrected every single time until the caravan swung the whole 4WD around. No one was hurt thankfully. The idiot should not have been towing.

that didnt happen to be going down the newcastle to sydney freeway at ourimbah hill did it ?

not its top speed just ran out of road but the fastest i have heard of an sv6 (2008, 190kw) going is 236 km/h

Ive seen mid 230s as well in a VE SV6 wagon, cars lowered with springs really stable at speed. Above 210 speed increases pretty slowly. I had plenty of road and there probably wasnt much more maybe 240. I got bored.

I saw 260-270 on the freeway here once...err..not in an SV6 though
