Well obviously its near the ignition but...

Im a newbie in this area and i have a fake alarm light (LED) i want to connect to the ignition wire so it turns off when the ignition comes on.

the led light is alreadu connected but it never turns off.

is this the right way to do it so it does turn off?

And secondly where exactly is the ignition wire? how do i get to it and is it simple to attach new wiring to it??

Any help would be great

Use a multimeter on the back of the ignition barrel. You will have one wire with constant 12v. And 3 others that will receive 12v depending on where the key is turned to

Btw great dig on your own thread. Lol
