Well obviously its near the ignition but...

Im a newbie in this area and i have a fake alarm light (LED) i want to connect to the ignition wire so it turns off when the ignition comes on.

the led light is alreadu connected but it never turns off.

is this the right way to do it so it does turn off?

And secondly where exactly is the ignition wire? how do i get to it and is it simple to attach new wiring to it??

Any help would be great

only way i could think to turn it off with ignition would be a with a relay, so run ignition to pin 85, earth to 86, power to 30 and led positive wire to 87a (have to use relay with 87a terminal)

hey thanks for reply

by the sounds of it it may not be so simple as i thought

the led light is simply to wires. Im not sure what ur meaning with the pins, i dont have those expertise

and basically im not sure where all thse wires are?

i just thought there is a wire somewhre that has its power cut off when the ignition turns over. so hence the led light will shut off??
