On my V8 Wm caprice I'm wanting to check my charcoal filter as fuel doesn't flow smoothly into the tank, the fuel Bowser's always click off each dollar or 2. I've checked the fuel breather hose and cleared it out (the one connected to the fuel filler neck to the tank). Still does it though. No idea where this charcoal canister is in 2007 Wm caprice. Any help would be great.

I have had to drop my tank twice,
and I dont recall ever seeing one,
I did see some interesting plumbing on the side of the tank tho.

Oh wow yeah okay. I did manage to get in more fuel than usual though before any clicks from the Bowser (about 20L or so). The tank is topped off at the moment, so I'll see if it messes around again once I empty the tank to about a quarter.

Was that venting on passenger side? Cheers for your fast reply

I have one in the garage. Just got these for you so you know what you’re looking for.

think its above the diff bolted to the bottom of the boot floor, pita to get to but u can see it from underneath

Now that I have seen Fu Manchu pics, as I didnt take much notice of mine,
I was more concerned of getting the PITA connector/breather pipe of the top of the tank before I dropped it,
Because if you dont remove it and drop the tank, you will rip the fitting out, and its time for a new tank.

That is correct !
Above the Diff, make sure you have skinny arms !
hard to see, and hard to get to, due all the hardware under there.
there is a Vent Pipe on the Filler Pipe, that connects to the top edge of the tank on the drivers side, [adjacent the filler inlet]
They are easy to get to, and have normal worm screw hose clamps on both pipes. [well mine does]
