2001 series 2 l67 s pack. Auto.

I was smart (cough) and threw the standard exhaust out about 2yrs ago when I bought and installed a new exhaust. Getting sick of the drone and want to go quiet again.

Would a reputable exhaust shop be able to source a new standard system or make one?

I DO NOT want any sort of sound anymore, I was as quiet as possible. Any info helps guys cheers.

Would suspect the stock exhaust is just a regular V6 one.

Surely exhaust shops will still have standard ss/hsv systems out the back?
I had a HSV system on the Mrs's VY Calais Super 6 and it was nice and silent yet still didn't restrict it.

I doubt anyone would have a genuine system these days. A twin system from a V8 works reasonable well.

Nope, the L67 have twin cat /muffler system that merges into a single after the diff.

Yes they are different, I noticed that when doing the LSD on my L67, I think they are stainless steel, and a larger diameter,
I stand corrected if I am wrong, as I have a family friend that has a Stock V6, and noticed the difference to the L67 on his when I was working on it.

I believe the standard v6 ecotec exhaust system is 2 inch & L67 is 2 1/4 inch.

Stock l67 next to stock v8 system.

Stock l67 merges into single 2.5" system. Ok for a stock l67 only...
