Just wondering where people have mounted their amps in the boot of their vy's?
Am currently looking at installing a 2 channel to run my 6x9's in the back.
If you could provide pics that would be great:thumbsup:

i was looking at the underside of the shelf (i havent actually got an amp to mount though)

Just do what most people do and mount them against the rear seats

I thought the underside but have since read that it does the amp no good to mount them upside down??

Yeah, I've read that too, although I think it's only in extreme cases and most people get away with it.

How about mounting it under the front passenger seat? That's where I've got mine...

do not mount upside down
either place on back of rear seat or under passengers front seat
or make a board for right/left side in boot standing up

Did you go with phreddy's upgrade or use aftermarket?
I'm currently talking to phreddy and think it will be the go.

the best way I've seen is under the parcel shelf, on a roll-out shelf using runners like the ones used in drawers. That way it's way out of the way, right side up, and easy to access. A bit of work, but it looks great.

Yeah, I went with Phreddy's mod - it sounds the goods! :yeah:

Evman just reminded me - if you're talking to Phreddy, ask to see how he's mounted his amp in his VZ. Similiar to what Evman described and really neat.
