Straight down the dipstick tube.

And tee in off the heater lines for coolant.

Can't remember what they're called but I have seen oil in/out aux circuits that go between the oil filter and block. Bolt on, removable and look ok.
For oil coolers and turbos.

Someone here will know what they are called. I can only remember what they look like and where they fit.

Sandwich plates and filter blocks. The blocks are okay for turbo feeds and oil coolers and remote filters but they're not an oil return.

OK. I thought they had a return.

There's an oil inlet and outlet to the filter, but post that the oil then runs to the rest of the engine's oil galleries which means you'll be feeding hot turbo oil back into the engine - oil is responsible for a decent amount of cooling for most turbos, and then there are the oil cooled ones. The other problem is that that both the inlet and outlet are equally pressurized as opposed to a normal return where the oil just kind of falls out of the turbo into the sump.
