I think users should put at least what state their from when posting an item for sale,or a car for sale.That way you know, you can at least contact them knowing,that there in your state rather than not knowing where they are from at all,and they are across the other side of australia,your just wasting there time to find out that there in another state

This is what the location is for. Unfortunately not everyone has filled it in which makes it difficult to determine their location. I do agree though it would make things much easier if that were the case. I will change the rules to reflect that over the weekend or before if I can.

From what I had seen I thought most people had put in the location, but then again I could be wrong.
