- TVR prototype with VL SS Group A SV
Hi there - we are restoring a prototype TVR sports car in England which is fitted with a very early VL SS Group A SV Walky engine, married to a T5 gearbox. These were sent over by Tom Walkinshaw for TVR to try in the UK with view to them possibly using the combo in future production cars. The car was going to be scrapped by the TVR factory, but we managed to save her and are now coming to the end of the restoration.
The original clutch pedal cable was replaced by hydraulic master and slave cylinder well before we got the car and apparently worked very well.
We have tried a new clutch which doesn't appear to be the right one, so does anyone have any ideas what clutch we should be buying and where from?
Bit more information on the car and the restoration here: TVR White Elephant
Thanks in advance
