Which commodores have these IAT sensors

Hi all,

Megasquirting my car and im looking for this gm part

all i could find was the air temp sensor on the front of VS airbox, i was looking around the vn motors and couldnt find their temp sensor

Anyway yeah if anyone knows which commodores have the threaded temp sensor that would be great

VR commodore V6 - back of manifold on drivers side. I know as I recently replaced the one on my ute. By memory, late vn (series 2 engine) onwards have it there through VP and VR also.

VS-VY have coolant temp sensors that screw into the thermostat housing.

Question is on IAT (Intake air temp) sensor.

Coolant temp sensor is different.

Then again, the first pic posted in 2010 is of a coolant sensor by the looks, and an IAT sensor second. Have a feeling he probably sorted it by now though.

Vt Commodore have it mounted on the air intake system near the air filter.

that threaded IAT looks like it comes from a VN 3.8 LG2 (LN3) engine, i have the same one supplied with the harrop blower kit, also not all GM IAT sensors are calibrated the same so u may have to adjust it if u can to suit your ecu if its different
