Good work "commy". Top marks.
My '09 says EXACTLY the same.
Why all these questions about fuel octane values for the VEs? It's just a case of reading.
Can only feel "The General" knows best.

95 here - may as well - although 91 would also work....

98 use to cause starting issues with my Alfa as it gummed up injectors (doubt this would apply to Commodores) however it was due to the cleaning agents in 98 - went back to 95 in it and no problems at all...

I run my mower on 98
I can suggest to ppl who are experiencing a fuel problem is to thoroughly clean the throttle body, especially if shes done a few ks.I don't even know if this is covered with a general service?
It's an easy job and can be done in under 1 hour.
Do this and get a new air filter,A bottle of injector cleaner in tank and she will give you a good run as long as there's nothing else wrong.

I had an SV6 SIDI before the SS a few years ago, had it for about 4 years. I normally would run it on 91, never had a problem with that. On a few occasions I had used E10 and had check engine light come on for a while, but I can't say for if sure that was definitely due to fuel. I towed a caravan on occasion and I would use premium when towing for the benefit of any doubt given the engine is operating under load towing the dual axle van. I generally use 95 in my SS, but the engine is such a big lazy thing I doubt it really needs it.

We put in 91 because the manual says so...putting 95 makes the car heavy!

Interesting , My Alfa Romeo GTA had on the inside of the fuel flap a notice saying Premium fuel only of 96Octane or higher , so it gets 98 and runs sweet
