A shock absorber only has a limited range of travel, if it had to much than it would be pretty pointless. When you go for lowered springs than you are moving the range of travel away from the middle and more towards the bottom. So the shock absorber will bottom out so to speak. Basically when you hit a pothole of a bump or something, the car will sit on the bump stops of the shock.

I have recently lowered my car with pedders and retained the stock shocks but i will be changing them shortly. Occasionally bottoms out so changing them is the way i'd go, based on my limited experience. ;)

Next thing, is there any use, if I put the SV6 exhaust and muffler to the VE omega?? does it look better, sound better? the person selling the springs also got an exhaust and muffler that take out from an SV6 and he gave me a cheap price all together $100 bucks, he claims its new, any opinion????

thanks to everyone
