Which side is the fuel cap?

When I'm using another car I just pop the fuel door and look into my side mirrors to see which side its on.

I've driven cars which have an arrow next to the fuel pump icon on the dash, which points to the side with the filler cap, but I don't think which side of the dial the icon is shown has anything to do with it.

My mates old corolla has it written on the passenger window just near the wing mirror, and I think Mums pulsar has the same thing

Cool but HQ's have the fuel cap in the middle of the car and the gauge is to one side. Myth BUSTED

My dash has a Fuel Door label on it, and the petrol pump handle is on the opposite side

had a look on my swift, the bowser arm is on one side and it actually has a small arrow on the other side to point to the filler door.

Same as AU Ford.

Just looked on wife's kia, filler arm on the opposite side but it has an arrow. The vy just has the filler arm on the correct (rhs) side.
