Simply undoing one bolt each side of the bar and pushing it through the next hole on the swaybar.

You can see the bolt in the pic, not a quick release pin, will need two spanners and a couple of minutes to perform. This is heaps easier than replacing the whole swaybar.

I will tell you the same thing I was told when I asked my local suspension specialist, He said that he would'nt make my mind up and would not recommend anything in the way of one single sized bar, go for the blade cause you get the adjustment for an extra $60, or buy the big bar and be disappointed when it's not what you had imagined.

I spoke to a guy who does all of my wheel alignments, and even sets cars up for track work etc.
He told me not to TOUCH the sways bars, until springs and shocks abnd bushes are all done.
The reason being, swaybar should be a final tuning point.
To get more point in at the front, you fit a rear sway bar, so now ask, HOW does it cause more point at the front? It stops the rear wheels gripping up properly (As the camber won't change when shoved into a corner) hence the REAR actually drops grip.

I then went to another shop for another opinion, they said EXACTLY the same thing, and NEITHER of these shops actually sell any springs/shocks.

So I'd do springs/shocks first.

do the bushes first, then, fitting new springs and shocks will already help with body roll. swaybars do effect theway your car handles and i've been told that you need to updrade together, not sure how the rear swaybar effects IRS but probably a little different to the trailing arm setup. however really stiffening one end of the car and doing nothing to the other gonna effect the balance of the car, possibly in a bad way. there is a reason the V8 supercar guys have adjustable front/rear swaybars and they adjust them to suit weight(fuel), types of corners, weather, condition of tyres etc. which modelVR you got, the calais version always was considered to be like a couch on wheels

MM, Well what would you guys surgest as far as springs and shocks, (please don't bother saying kings)

I'm still not 100% convinced that i shouldn't do sways first
