    the trans in my june 06 exec has just expired, 56k, i,m looking for low milage replacement, the trans code on vin plate is m30, sticker on bellhousing h.b.h, my question is will any vz trans fit my 3.6 vz, thank for any help

    2004 VZ SV6 5-Speed Auto
    This depends on the exact transmission you have, (guys correct me if i'm wrong) all V6 VZ models apart from Calais and SV6's have the 4 Speed Auto GM 4L60, Calais and SV6's have the 5-Speed GM 5L40-E Auto.

    I have the VZ SV6 and my 5-Speeds auto trans has crapped itself, the car atleast drives, but is unreliable, trying to save up for a low KM replacement also.
