Pajero LWB Wagon, Power/economy what's that ???
I am going to install a stereo in my VN. Either one of the choices I have are not great systems but will all do the job I require of them. I have Kenwood 6x9s for the rear and only 4 inch Pioneer dual cones in the front.
So when you have stopped laughing, maybe you could help me with my choice. Note there is no intention to install an amp (at this stage)

My choices are:

1. Pioneer KEH-1150 Radio Cassette + FM transmitter 6CD stacker.
Being Pioneer it should be reliable and be close to the 22W x 4 it quotes.

2. Eurovox 8790 Radio Cassette (came from an Audi A3) + 10CD stacker
Unknown entity to me, quotes 50W x 4, full stacker controls on deck,
security coded (have code) also plugs straight into VN-VR making things easier

3. Fujitsu 10 (or Matsushita) Radio Cassette (from a Cressida) + 10CD
stacker, 45W x 4, full stacker controls on deck, from my experiences they
are well made and reliable with similar sound quality to a pioneer (unamped)
straight from the head unit.

All are single DIN.

Anybody have any experience they wish to impart? It would be most appreciated.

Thankyou

Go for the Eurovox. Your current speakers aren't bad of quality but they will blow big balls if you use the FM transmitter in the Pioneer.

The Fujitsu just isn't a good brand. Period.

The Eurovox on the other hand is the greatest but is certainly a reliable unit. Not only will plug straight in but it will also bolt straight in. It won't put out the 50x4 but then again, NONE of them do. The best you can manage from any headunit is about 17wrms.

Thats the kings choice. Lets hear it from others now eh?

Cheers, I was leaning toward the Eurovox as it is the easiest.

I won't bother with the Fujitsu then, too much messing around anyway.
I 've actually never had any problems with them in the three Toyotas I've owned but I've never really tested them out though.

Thanks Mr King, Eurovox it is.

Fujitsu owns/makes Eclipse... They make excellent head units, but stock Fujitsu from an old car, who knows the quality.

Kenwood make mops.

Panasonic make everything.

Pioneer make TV's, DVD, home amps, etc.

Brands that make other products can still make decent car audio :)

Fujitsu make pretty good plasma TV's, up there with Pioneer and Hitachi.

This is way off topic :p
