I am going to install a stereo in my VN. Either one of the choices I have are not great systems but will all do the job I require of them. I have Kenwood 6x9s for the rear and only 4 inch Pioneer dual cones in the front.
So when you have stopped laughing, maybe you could help me with my choice. Note there is no intention to install an amp (at this stage)
My choices are:
1. Pioneer KEH-1150 Radio Cassette + FM transmitter 6CD stacker.
Being Pioneer it should be reliable and be close to the 22W x 4 it quotes.
2. Eurovox 8790 Radio Cassette (came from an Audi A3) + 10CD stacker
Unknown entity to me, quotes 50W x 4, full stacker controls on deck,
security coded (have code) also plugs straight into VN-VR making things easier
3. Fujitsu 10 (or Matsushita) Radio Cassette (from a Cressida) + 10CD
stacker, 45W x 4, full stacker controls on deck, from my experiences they
are well made and reliable with similar sound quality to a pioneer (unamped)
straight from the head unit.
All are single DIN.
Anybody have any experience they wish to impart? It would be most appreciated.
Thankyou
