I picked up one of the first VF SSV Wagons in Black for the wife ... Well I got the SSV instead of the SV6 for the times I drive it :) ...
Love the car as does she only pbm I noticed is the black does not have colour coded mirrors, Apprears to be bare black plastic.

Only had my SSV ute for a month now and I absolutely love it. It certainly puts a smile on my face every time I get in it and every time I look at it. This thing has everything in it that I could ever want except for one thing........ which Im being picky now and thats no reverse camera guidelines. Would be great if this was a simple software upgrade on the mylink system? Or it maybe a setting that I need to adjust in the mylink system? If anyone has any info if its possible to get the reverse guidelines to show up on the mylink screen would be great.
    Cheers

Knowing full well I'm replying to an old thread but....

First time Holden owner, recovering life long Ford enthusiast, I'm really enjoying my ss-v redline.

Still in the honeymoon stage I guess and maybe a little happy to be back in a rwd v8, but hats off to Holden.

Had my SS-V Redline for a couple of months now. She's gorgeous :yahoo: and like others have said, I absolutely love it. And surprisingly more fuel efficient than I imagined it would be, never owning a V8 before I expected the worst - but no, it's not bad at all. Got 7.4L/100 on a recent country trip.

I also have found that the glovebox light has been on where it has been on for so long that the white plastic envelope that comes with the holden manuals were very hot and had melted the embossed letter on a fuel card. The lid was not being kept open by the contents but it seems to be a bit hit and miss. Also while I love the car the wind noise from both front doors is annoying especially the drivers door. I have had the dealers look at it without any success. The doors seem to flex over bumps in the wet as you can hear the swishing over the bumps. I have noticed that there very little water noise from inside the car in the wet until the car goes overs some bumps etc.

I took delivery of my VF SSV with the Walkinshaw W310 enhancement yesterday and absoloutely love it. Throttle is really responsive without being overly touchy and can deliver the 310kw to the road without setting off traction control every 5 seconds.

I am recently into my second VF. Still totally happy after 32,500 km on the first, and now past 6,000 on the second.

Jun 15 VF SS 3000km. After 9 years in 3 audi's the VF is better than i thought it would be. Its a great drivers car, i smile each time i drive especially when the bride glares at me when the foot goes down just that little too much.....only issue is like others here is wind noise on drivers side.

    September 2014 VF SS-V Redline wagon, 1200km.
Makes me smile every time I drive it, even the Adam West Batman style collision warnings offer fun & amusement!
Plus we saw an ottoman we needed on Sunday, 60% off, and with the wagon we could just buy it & bring it home; no delivery, no extra cost, and there was room for beer from Beer Cartel in the boot as well! :)
Even the missus says she really enjoys driving it compared to the VS V6 Berlina it replaces (which was a good, reliable, comfortable car ... but we've now got what feels like twice the power & 3x the safety for the same fuel usage).

Plus you can't beat wood panneling for quality exterior styling!

Coming up 12 months now since I bought my wagon and still love the car. Would look at replacing with a newer build before production ends, keen to see how the 6.2 goes.

Mine is a 2013 Redline... with all the chrome trimmings. Love it. Done nearly 60k now and still plows along nicely.

Three days ago picked up my 3/2014 VF SV6. After owning commodores for the last 20 odd years, a VN Exec, VT Exec and a VY SV8 can only say this VF feels great, miss the torque of the SV8 but it is a much nicer car so far with heaps of bells and whistles!

I ordered a SSV nearly 2 moths ago (was suckered in by sales manager promising a car he couldn't deliver) and have now had to wait for the new VF Series II to be released, my patience has been pushed to it's limits. I'll admit I have looked at other cars (Ford XR8, Subaru WRX STi) but the comments on here have kept me with my original decision of waiting for the SSV to be released, I know it will be worth the wait. I look forward to writing comments "it puts a smile on my face every time I get in the car"

Drove my sons VE SV6 ute yesterday .. could not wait to get back in the Redline today ... much, much, much better. Prefer it over my E3 Senator. And that is saying something.
