dont even have to pull it out to put a new cam in.

Yeah exactly.

Yeah that works too, I have heard good things about off the shelf cams. But if your building a full motor, might as well go custom to suit the whole build.

All you're doing is holding the valve open longer.
Putting more force on the push rod, lifter and cam lobe.

Its the most arse backwards way of doing it.

Well I guess the head flow is fine since gains are still being had from 1.91 to 1.95 and from 1.95 to 1.98?

FIT Seem to say that their rockers give the most power gain e.g their extreme ones but I think this was topped by YT not long ago,
I just don't know how far they can go without compromising the reliability of the engine.

I guess a good way to go would be a ported head+rocker package to get most gains MACE do a package but kinda costly. But hey for those prices you might aswell just put a SC V6 in
and theres your power + more potential

In terms of power output would they pretty much be the same if they are both 1.91? Whether from YT to MACE to FIT? or is there other factors
that could affect power output.

Might as well rebuild your motor and do things properly from the start.

If you were to do things properly from the start, you wouldn't start with a V6.

Not everyone can afford V8 rego and fuel costs, and to maintain a V8

A highly modded V6 with similar power figures will be chomping as much fuel as a V8.

A highly modified 2ltr will chomp fuel as well.

People don't seem to understand that the whole principle behind making a combustion engine go faster is to try and get the air and fuel in as fast and efficiently as possible, burn it with the biggest bang and get the gases out as quick as possible.
