Lotus is owned by Proton... I think you're after Lexus?
Owned by proton - but use toyota motors. It was a play on the alleged chev motors in commodores idea.
I thought it was clever anyway :spot on:
if i ever own a proton it will have lotus badges
I prefer the debadged look but seriously, who the hell cares what badge people put on their cars.
The whole chev badge on commodores is so the driver can be unique and stand out amongst the rest. lol
I myself have a GM badge on the front of my car because its slimline and adds depth to the grill, as stated
above though. Each to their own, but prepare to be judged.
My car is debadged except for the grille, and it's now black.
Again, each to their own.
There seem to be about 25% of Commodores in SW Sydney that are Chev'd up, the rest wear their original badges. I haven't yet seen another sedan or wagon without badges, so there must not be many
Has anyone tried to make one with a holden badge, I mean the chrome lines then the holden badge in the middle ?
yeh it's called an Omega
I saw one on a VY ute this morning.
I had one on my ve before i put the ss grille on. I still have the grille with chrome lines and holden badge in middle
berlina actually, or omega 60th anniv.
haha true! I'll just pretend I meant the 60th ann!
got a pic mate?
and you thought chev badged ss was bad...
lol i saw a ford courier today with an XR6 badge down the side and then there's the Toyota corolla i see with a Silvia badge on it, so there are worse things
floating around then the Chev theme lol
Ahhhh my eyes!!
Way of topic, why is that SS have 3O7 badge on it?
go to my ride thread and you can see one there
Its a conspiracy! Sell Australia's favourite family car with a big arse, dinner plate size chrome badge on the front, then make some extra dollars selling after market chevy badges. Ah Holden you are a clever little cookie!
