VR, Because shes the goodlooking model of the Buick engine based commodores, low rev torque, comfortable to drive and/or trash, not too hard to take care of, panels and parts are cheap and engines are basic, can do many mods to, they look great when kept in good condition. Not as much cop attention as say a VL / VN / VP...

Im on my 2nd VS. I like the shape more than any other commodore and like the smoothness of the ecotec over the buick. They are also very cheap and easy to make look great and go well (well enough for me for now anyway)

I'd definately buy another one

VSII Calais supercharged
I could have voted for either the first OR second option. I don't have the money to upgrade but yet I really do like the VS. I've only ever owned two cars in my life and both being a VS. I like the Ecotec design. They are simple, easy to work on, parts readily available and inexpensive.

My father-in-law bought a 05 VZ exec wagon on Friday. Nice car, only 70,000kms, looks great for a stock car and handles quite well for a wagon. But to be honest it's not the most inspiring thing to drive. Put your foot down and wait a minute for the electronic throttle control to do it's thing.

If I had the money I'd go for a VYII Calais with an L67. Until then I'll stick with the VS

he will prolly kick your arse considering the vp weighs less than yours by 30 kilos and only has 3 kws less than your vr. add weight from your fairy edition neons and the extra bits and pieces he should have the lead on you
