Why was the old POTD thread removed completely?

As the title states, Why was the thread removed completely. There was some great pictures in there!

An it cannot be due to website space as 95% of the images were linked from other sites.

This idea is as silly as the one to close the original POTD thread! Because it had "Too many pages"

Yeah, agree with Hozy.

It lived on for 200+ pages, I can't see why it was suddenly locked and deleted in the space of a fortnight.

Was always a good laugh to go back and have a flick through the photos every once and a while.

From what i can see, since this thread was removed i have gone to 0 Likes even though i have likes in other threads, And all Rep has been taken away (only from old POTD thread). Im with hoz, no idea why the thread was ever locked to start with let alone removed.

hozy i removed it.

i do agree i dont know why it was closed and a new one was open but that wasnt my decision.

i removed it because it wasnt getting updated, but if you would like it back up there ill re-sticky it u sexy man beast
