I set my AAWireless up yesterday, is there a good forum etc for the best settings for Oz?

I tried making a call this morning but the car told me that no phone was connected to bluetooth. Do I just use google assistant now, hitting the steering wheel button did cancel the action?
You dont connect your phone to the bluetooth too do you, I thought the car was supposed to think my phone was connected to the system?

bluetooth pair your phone to both the aawireless and the vehicles headunit.
the calls should be routed through the headunit and not aawireless.
