I didn't use sound deadening in mine. I dunno if it's necessary. Barely any noise escapes the cabin in my ute plus there is no vibrations.

Mine is all running off a 4 channel amp too.

When the door speakers were disconnected I gave the center speaker a run. It actually isn't too bad for a little thing. I didn't disconnect it. I heard it plays a big part in Bluetooth also.

has nothing to do with bluetooth if it's set up right (driver's side front)

no you have to set it. When you're on a call, just shift the balance to the driver's side (no fade in a ute, obviously) - it will revert back to normal when the call ends but it will remember that setting for each call. Puts less stress on the echo cancelling function of the BT module, which means clearer signals.

Oh righto, ive just got mine running standard so when I make a call it uses all speakers. I don't think it would be worth cutting the middle speaker.

Yea mate, massive improvement hey. So much louder and crisper. The distortion comes down to the quality of the speaker. The Type R's are fantastic.
