will a ford t5 bolt up to my vn v6 bell housing ??

just wondering if a t5 out of a ford eg. ea eb ed will bolt straight up to a vn ?

need to know asap thanks

While yes it will bolt up to the bellhousing, you will have issues with the input shaft.

The input shaft on the Ford T5 is a different thickness and won't fit the Holden clutch plate (I found out the hard way, about 1/8 an inch difference). Chances are the input shaft is also a different length as well.

Thats correct :thumbsup: The ford T5's ran a different input shaft. If you can source an input shaft from a holden v8 (or a v6 and have it shortened) you should be able to swap it over, but they're pretty hard to come by these days without buying a complete box and the new repro input shafts are well over $500 from memory.

Ford T5 to Holden bell = Ok
Ford Bell to Holden block = Fail
Ford T5 input to Holden motor = Fail

Overall Ford T5 to Holden = Fail
