hey all.. needed some tyres to replace the 245/35r19s that were rat sh1t, anyway i picked up a second hand pair of 255/40s and had them fitted to the wheels... the tyre bloke told me they maybe to wide for my vt as its lowered (havent put them on the car yet).. would i have any issues or would it be ok? here is a pic of the car with the old tyres on... i just dont want to waste my time stuffing around with the wrong sized tyres... cheers guys...

it used to rub out with 235/45s and 235/40s but the rear is rolled abit..

245/35/19 have an overall diameter of 654mm and 255/40/19 have a diameter of 686mm. So I'd say at that height, yes they will rub like a mofo.

Im running 275/40r17 rears and with a very minor amount of massaging I have managed to fit them in without any scrubbing on the rear including when I have 3 adults on the backseat
