oh ok!

knew it was called zeta, but didnt know it was the "v" platform.

i guess we'll see, but they arent going to reuse code letters are they?

i think the logic has merit.

Ford change codes like they change their socks, so who says GM arent up for a change?

The Falcon has been around since 50's so I doubt they were going to keep the code on the same letter.
What happens when Holden run out of V code will the commodore name change??

VS Commodore Omega
Just in case anyone forgets:

VA - USED: (internal) Unreleased Torana
VB - USED: Commodore
VC - USED: Commodore

VD - ?
VE - ?
VF - ?
VG - USED: Commodore Ute
VH - USED: Commodore

VI - ?
VJ - ?
VK - USED: Commodore
VL - USED: Commodore
VM - USED: (internal) Unreleased Commodore
VN - USED: Commodore

VO - ?
VP - USED: Commodore
VQ - USED: Commodore (Statesman/Caprice)
VR - USED: Commodore
VS - USED: Commodore
VT - USED: Commodore
VU - USED: Commodore (Ute)

VV - ?
VW - ?
VX - USED: Commodore
VY - USED: Commodore
VZ - USED: Commodore
V2 - USED: Monaro (2 stands for 2 doors?)

This leaves us with only a few letters left (possibly less, I don't know if there's been any other unreleased internal codes): VD, VE, VF, VI, VJ, VO, VV and VW.. I am fascinated and curious, what will they do? That's almost enough for two whole new Commodore platforms :|

Take VW out because it cannot be used (due to VW in Germany). I also think VD wont be used as it would be subject to ridicule and Holden arn't that stupid, it would be like Ford calling Orion the BJ.

Don't worry about letters being funny,

Yeah a Z would make sense... there's just not enough V's left... and being an entirely new platform...
