Will the CPR6 and 12mm insulators fit underneath a Vz bonnet?

Just picked up a cpr6
just wondering will the CPR6 and the 12mm insulators fit underneath a Vz alloytec bonnet?

Hey Dave,

You may be able to get away with it given that you have a Caprice, I doubt that you'll be able to fit both though

I hope I can still use the insulators cause Iv modified them to fit around my gas injectors as I couldn't use the GM metal gasket.

It may mean I won't be able to fit the CPR6 cause It may not sit around the gas injectors depending on its design.
I guess I won't find out till I try it on.

Otherwise I'd have to leave the insulator out and cut out a home made paper gasket.

Hmm any suggestions anyone out there who have the CPR6 and the manifold insulators?

Haha Yea i know, been a busy bee with my jobs and Uni, but been on the look out for the CPR6 for a while now and finely picked one up yesterday.

Here's a little sneak peek of what Iv done to it since I picked it up yesterday

The rest shall be gloss black to suit these babiiez

But I hope it fits with the insulators.

If the insulators don't fit I suppose the worse case is grab the side off each telephone book and make up a set of gaskets
