I was under the impression that all Series 1 headlights are interchangeable amongst models?

However, the product page on E-bay says that my vehicle is not compatible with this style of headlight?

Link: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/362050149336?fits=Plat_Gen:VE&hash=item544bdedbd8:g:B30AAOSwLrBhWEQe&frcectupt=true

Would these fit my Berlina as i understand they should or is it $300 down the drain?

And if so, would the current globes fit into the new headlights? or would I need to purchase new globes?

Cheers,

I concur. Yes they fit. Plug and play. As above for the bulbs.

excuse my ignorance but are these the bulbs that are currently in my headlights? and it's just swap over and re install the headlights?

Not sure but if you remove the dust caps on yours, you can have a look at the bulbs. it will be printed on them somewhere. I'd imagine they are the same. it's a quick trip to Supercrap if you need new bulbs.

unless your old ones are stuffed hang onto them, these cheap china things don't age well. also ask the seller there are probably bulbs included.

what do you mean by don't age well? like fog up within 6 months, or crack and chip easily? then, is it better to find some decent ones from the wreckers that are genuine Holden parts?

Wouldn’t matter. They are easy and cheap to restore correctly.

the plastics aren't as good a quality so yes they will wear out quicker.

Still easy to sand back with progressively finer grades of sandpaper and treat with Duplicolour UV protectant sealant. Like new for $30. (Sealant and sandpaper). Restored correctly.
