Setting a carb up half correctly for draw through isn't the easy way it's just cheaper.

Most truck turbos don't run a carbon seal so the fuel washes the bushes and its a bit smokey on oil. Can restrict the feed right down but then worry about level of film.

Nothing wrong with the cast manifolds and EFI turbo. Build a flange that bolts to the factory ones. One as a cross pipe one at a 90-100 degree to merge with cross pipe.

Intercooler , less lag , a lot safer , better timing control without running locked timing or paying $1000 for a mappable CDI set up , $700 for a non mappable with boost retard solenoid.

Coming from someone who plays with draw through turbos

I think 3 piece felpro gaskets are still rage or atleast think that was brand most holden tragics were using as they could take piece out to raise compression.

Compression will be fairly low using old red/blue/black dishtops mixed with vn heads...factory efi v8 motors were around 8.8:1 which would be better.

If going to actually turbo it & can use factory headers no point making or modifying extractors.
