[SA] window regulators

I know this is commy forums but the concept should be the same, friend has a 91 GQ patrol and the rear windows won't go up or down, the motor spins but no contact, what should we check and adjust? Cheers

Cables in the reg are probably shagged. Although very odd if they both went at the same time
