Ok, well I have a question for those who may have answers

Well what the situation is, is that I am putting industrial carpet underlay between the door trims and the doors. What the problem is, is that the window winder handles don't easily go back on. What they need is to have the bit that locks into the mechanism through the door trim lengthened! Now my idea is, should I not be able to find another solution, is to get a bit of PVC or another set of handles from a vn, and use the bits from those door handles or the PVC to lengthen the connecting bit.

I was just wondering, is there a model of Commodore with compatible handles which has a longer connecting bit to compensate for thicker door trims? Because that would be incredibly handy :).

i have no problem with getting them back on. clip the circlip back on the winder and push the winder back on the door till the circlip "clicks" back into place.
