Those are Retail Prices: Upgrade -- Home Premium $A199 Professional Upgrade $A399 Ultimate Upgrade $A429
Ill wait for OEM prices. Wont be buying it until my RC licence runs out, but ****ed if Im ever going back to XP or Vista.
I totally agree with Tom, Vista and XP are now no longer in my thoughts when reformatting any of my families PC's. By that time it comes out as OEM There will be someone needing an upgrade allowing me to get more and more OEM versions to cover the machines I Manage..
Comparing the editions from windows P.O.V Which one is right for you? Yeah I am going to wait for OEM as well.
Since Microsoft is giving out free licenses which will last till june 2010, that should be enough time to get tired of windows 7 and ones the hype is over you could just go back to XP
can't wait to get my free licence of professional from tafe, thank you government for saving me $400.

Yeah, like hell I'm going to pay that much money for an operating system. Good thing I'll have access to OEM and TechNet licenses.
Well Vista has been nothing but one issue after another. For instance the two reinstalls over the past week. I'll be hanging out for windows 7!
