I replaced the two black pieces of rubber called "windscreen garnish" or "moulding" on my VE last week. Very easy job and for $50 a set a cheap cosmetic enhancement as the existing ones had perished terribly.
Part numbers are 92212084 and 92212085 if ordering. I've posted the instructions below as I found them difficult to find in the PDF.

"Moulding" or "molding" The writers of the repair manual don't know either so they have a bet both ways in the instructions...

Did you buy those from a dealership?
Yanks usually write molding, Aussies tend to use moulding!

Yes, from the local Holden dealer.

I think I need to replace mine, they've hardened and wont clip down properly. I'm fairly sure the passenger side one whistles just to **** me.

I called a local Sydney dealership and quoted me around $66 per set.

I just bought two sets of these (one for the SV6 and one set for the E3) and paid under $100 delivered from Alan Mance in Melbourne. Seriously these guys are great and they're dispatching this afternoon.

I buy all my parts from these guys lately.

Was this through their ebay store or did you contact them direct? Sounds like quite a good price!

Easy to find in the manual by using the "Find" function.
Right click and type the search word, then keep hitting 'next'.

I originally bought oil filters through their ebay store, but now I just email them direct. I've bought from them before and just keep replying to the last email. The parts manager is great.

Have bought a fair bit through Allen Mance Holden and they have been great to deal with. Good people in parts.

A third vote for Alan Mance Holden - Contacted them today to order these windscreen moulds - spoke with Steve in the parts dept - really easy to deal with

Haven’t had a experience I’d rate since Doncaster Holden wound up last year but this this one was certainly a goodie

    2 thumbs up
