I've never seen such an animal. What type of arm are you trying to remove?

I think i have one of those. Never really knew what to use it on. I bought it from a garage sale.

Why would you need one? If you raise the wiper arm to its full extent, the spline should release easily. That's how they're meant to be removed. Trying when the blade is flat against the glass is much more difficult.

So that would work on a VS 1997 that has never had the arms off ?
I`ve taken them off before but this one no go.

They can be stiff Pete but raise the part of the arm that lifts, with it fully up give the other bit a wiggle. It should come off without the puller. Did you know there is nuts on the mech?
