Wipers dont spray water anymore

Yes but the leading edge of the wiper is still sweeping a dry screen on the first sweep.

Where the old style jets in the bonnet mean the wiper is sweeping wet glass front the get go.

Ok,i don't drive it much,i'll take notice next time i get it out but i'm sure there is water on the screen as the wiperblade moves upwards. Perhaps there is an adjustment under the wiper for where the water squirts,its not something i have ever looked at.

Yes, there is water on the screen.....below the blade.
